Frequently asked

How does a student join a class?

Their teacher reads a six-letter code aloud. The student types it into the app, picks a nickname, and they are in. No account, no email, no password.

The code is deliberately unambiguous when spoken: it contains no letters that sound alike in Spanish, because it gets read aloud in a classroom.

A student cannot get in

Almost always one of two things: the code was mistyped, or the teacher closed the class. Closing a class removes no one — it only stops accepting new arrivals. The teacher can reopen it from the panel.

Audio does not play

Check the phone’s silent switch and that the volume is up. The app works offline, but the first time it needs internet to download the audio; if it has never had a connection, it will only have a handful of words.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Practice works offline once the content has downloaded. What needs internet is joining a class and everything in the panel.

How do I delete my child’s data?

There is a button inside the app, in the profile screen. A parent can also export and delete it from the panel. See our Privacy Policy.

I am a teacher and want to use this with my class

Create an account in the management panel, create your class, and hand out the code. No contract, no purchase, and nothing to install on school computers.

I found an error in a word

Write to us with the word and what happened. Content errors matter most to us: the app exists to explain rules, so a rule explained wrong is a serious defect, not a typo.

Privacy and data

For access, export, or deletion requests — from a parent, a guardian, or a school district — write to the same address. See our Privacy Policy.
